Doctor Damon Noto is a physician and specialist in regenerative medicine. He has been seen and heard on regional and national radio and television discussing stem cell therapy and the ways in which it can heal injured parts of the body. Doctor Noto is among just a few dozen physicians in the United States who practice stem cell therapy. He is affiliated with the Hackensack University Medical Center and the Hackensack Surgical Center. In addition to stem cell therapy the doctor also specializes in pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation with the focus always on the patient’s overall well being.
Doctor Noto was born in Hackensack, NJ. He attended and graduated Don Bosco Preparatory High School and the Emory University in Atlanta. He later graduated from the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical School for Medicine in New York City. He served his residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and was a fellow at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Spine and Joint Center of New Jersey
The Spine & Joint Center of New Jersey was founded by Doctor Noto and his colleague Doctor Pericles Lantz and is located in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Doctor Lantz is also a specialist in Regenerative Medicine. They also have an office in New York City. The Spine and Joint Center of New Jersey is recognized as a leader in pain management and orthopedic treatment, including the use of adult stem cells harvested from the patient's own fat cells (not the sometimes controversial embryonic stem cells) which are then injected into injured joints to help stimulate the regeneration of healthy tissue. By utilizing non-embryonic stem cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), natural growth factors, and supplements the Spine & Joint Center can significantly improve a patient's condition and pain symptoms without the need for more aggressive treatments like long-term medication or surgery.
Regenerative medicine is a safe and non-surgical alternative to many spine and joint conditions like tendonitis, degenerative arthritis, and more. The treatment takes advantage of the human body's natural ability to repair itself by providing injured areas with an injected boost of regenerative cells. . This safe and non-invasive way of treating pain allows patients to heal better and improve their quality of life.
Doctor Noto, along with his colleague Doctor Pericles Lantz, are actively involved in many charities, among them the search for mixed race bone marrow donors as a way to increase the chances of survival of mixed race patients suffering from cancer. The survival rate for mixed race cancer victims in need of bone marrow transplants is currently between 5-7 percent.
Doctor Noto is also involved with 'Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting' which raises awareness about the unethical and illegal removal of human organs without consent, a practice still found in many parts of the world.
