DWKY, known as 91.5 Energy FM, was launched on October 13, 2003 wasowned and operated by Ultrasonic Broadcasting System Inc. (UBSI) in the Philippines. The station's studio is located at Pasig City. Energy FM is the third radio station to have a Contemporary Hit Radio format next to 99.5 RT and U92.
In 1984, 91.5 Energy FM was used to be known as KY 91 5 under Mabuhay Broadcasting System, Inc. (MBSI) which also owned DZXQ 1350 AM playing classic rock hits during the late 80's and the rest of the 90's.
In October 2003, Ultrasonic Broadcasting System acquired the FM operations of MBSI, and DWKY-FM was relaunched under a new name, 91.5 Energy FM,a new brand called "Pangga" and a recall byline " Wag mong sabihin radyo, sabihin mo E-ner-gy" in order to compete with the other local stations
From July to November 2006, The Edge Radio of United Christian Broadcasters occupied the 6pm-6am timeslot of Energy FM. In 2008, it ranked second among Metro Manila stations. In 2009, DWKY, together with its provincial stations, won in the 18th KBP Golden Dove Awards as Best FM Station of the year. In 2010, Manny Luzon eventually left UBSI to join the Progressive Broadcasting Corporation (where he transformed NU 107 to 107.5 Win Radio). After 8 years on DWKY, Energy FM signed off on June 1, 2011 and transferred to the 106.7 frequency a month later.
