Cyrus (Serous) Ramtin (سیروس رامتین) was the former director of the National Iranian Radio and Television International program. He was a veteran journalist. After the Islamic revolution of 1979, he spent times in prison because of his monarchist position. From his youth, he was involved in politics and started a right wing nationalist group called "GONA" (Goruh-e Nasionalistha-ye Enqelabi), created by Cyrus Ramtin, Shapour Zandnia and Zia Modars. He was also associated with Dr. Davood Monshizadeh and the SUMKA party. After leaving Iran, he worked with Dr. Ali Amini and his National Liberation Front. He died in California, in February 1987.
