Cyprus: A Land To Remember a one-off documentary created and filmed in Larnaca, Cyprus by 14 year old Richard Allo. The show explores Cyprus itself, the sights to see, the geography of the island and interviews from travellers. Filmed in August 2012, Allo stayed in five star hotel The Atlantica Sun Gardens in beautiful resort Ayia Napa. Filming began on August 16th and was completed on August 23rd. It was released days later once completed and edited. It was uploaded to YouTube on December 28th 2012.
The show informs its audience about the physical and geographical features of Cyprus, as well as information about how the coast in Cyprus is formed, sights to see, water sports, wildlife, activities in hotels and interviews from hotel guests and travellers. Early in the show it is simply explained Cyprus’ location in the world and what it is famous for. It then delves into Cyprus’ coast and how it has been formed and eroded over time. A brief look on wild Lizards also is shown. The show then explores the focus hotel; the Atlantica Sun Garden in Ayia Napa, Larnaca. It looks at the facilities, the activities and the grounds. Footage is seen at Larnaca’s Water Park, detailing activities and rides available. Towards the end of the show, there is footage of the shows which take place in the Atlantica Sun Garden.
