2004

2005

  • June 11 – Cute's creation announced on Tsunku's official site.

2006

  • January 2 – Kanna Arihara's being added to the group announced.[2] She becomes active as a member on January 28.
  • May 6 – 1st indie single "Massara Blue Jeans" released, being sold during Morning Musume May 6–7 concerts.
  • June 3 – 2nd single "Soku Dakishimete" released.
  • June – Participation in the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry 100th Anniversary Children's Future Expo 2006 (July 29 – August 20) as a support team announced. "Wakkyanai (Z)" later chosen as the theme song of the event.
  • July 9 – 3rd single "Ōkina Ai de Motenashite" released.
  • July 29 – 4th single "Wakkyanai (Z)" released.
  • September 6 – DVD Music V Tokushū 1: Cutie Visual released, being Cute's major debut DVD.
  • October 25 – 1st album Cutie Queen Vol. 1 released, being Cute's major debut album.
  • November 1 – Megumi Murakami's leaving the group to concentrate on her studies announced.[3]
  • December 6 – Cute Cutie Circuit 2006 Final in Yomiurland East Live: 9gatsu 10ka wa Cute no Hi held.

2007

  • February 21 – 1st major single "Sakura Chirari" released.[4]
  • February 24–25 – Cute Debut Solo Concert 2007 Spring: Hajimattayo! Cutie Show held at Nihon Seinenkan.
  • April 17 – 2nd album 2 Mini Ikiru to Iu Chikara released.[5]
  • April 21 – May 5 – Cute Concert Tour 2007 Spring: Golden First Date held.
  • July 11 – 2nd single "Meguru Koi no Kisetsu" released.
  • September 9 – October 28 – Cute Live Tour 2007 Aki: Hōkago no Essence held.
  • September 10 – Cute Cutie Circuit 2007: Magical Cutie Tour & 9gatsu 10ka wa Cute no Hi held.
  • October 17 – 3rd single "Tokaikko Junjō" released.[6]
  • December 30 – Performance at the 49th Japan Record Awards held, Japan Record Award for Best New Artist received.[7]
