The Cozy sidecar shares its roots with the once-dominant German sidecar manufacturer Steib (sidecar), which commissioned the production of sidecars in India in the mid-1960s in response to market changes and dwindling sales volume in Europe. Today, Cozy continues to produce Rocket and Traditional models based on the Steib designs that enjoyed broad worldwide popularity until the mid-1950s.
Late Haji Sayed Abdul Wahab is the founder of Cozy India Side Car.
