Christmas Abbott is the first female pit crew member in NASCAR.[1] Specifically, she is a front tire changer.[2] Her pit crew coach is Shaun Peet.[1] The first race she was a pit crew member in was the 45th annual Snowball Derby in Pensacola, Fla, held on December 2, 2012.[2][3] [4] In February 2013 she hopes to work in the pits with a NASCAR Truck Series team at Daytona.[5]

She has also competed in Crossfit competitions.[6] She co-owns a gym in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.[7]
