The company manufactures plywood, decorative veneers, decorative laminates, medium density fiberboards (MDF), pre-laminated boards, as well as readymade furniture and home lifestyle solutions. The Company has five business divisions – plywood, laminates, veneers, MDF & Prelam and Nesta, their new brand of deluxe furniture. CPIL has its corporate office in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Century Ply has manufacturing facilities at various locations across India, including one at the Ganger, Karnal (Haryana). It is the first plywood and veneer manufacturing company in India to earn the ISO 9002 certification. [1][2]

History

The Company was established in 1986 in Kolkata, India, by Sajjan Bhajanka (Managing Director) and Sanjay Agarwal (Deputy Managing Director).[3]

Nesta

Nesta is a brand of readymade, modular furniture launched by CenturyPly for upwardly mobile customers in the age group of 35-45 years. The brand was first launched in Bengaluru, with Bollywood actress <<Karisma Kapoor>> inaugurating the opening ceremony.[4]
