Caroline Aaron (born August 7, 1952)[1] is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her role as acid-tongued talk show host Mary Pat Lee on Wings.

Personal life

Aaron was born as Caroline Sidney Abady[2] in Richmond, Virginia of Jewish heritage.[1] Her mother, Nina Friedman Abady, was a civil rights activist in the American South.[1][3] She attended American University in Washington, D.C., studying performing arts.[4] Aaron has been married to James Foreman since 1981 and they have two children together, Ben and Sydney.[5]

Her elder sister, Josephine Abady, a theatre director and producer, died from breast cancer on May 25, 2002, aged 52.
