BollyHood Records is a record label created by Rajé Shwari as a platform to launch South Asian acts into the American music scene while representing their heritage. Rajé Shwari is of the first South Asian acts to bridge the two cultures. She found herself working with producer Timbaland where the two created a new sound with "Indian Flute."

Rajé went on to lend her vocals and South Asian culture to Jay-Z and Pharell, to name a few. Now BollyHood Records is the platform to continue the South Asian movement into the music scene.
