baby sue is a website and a cartoon character created by artist, author and one-man pop band LMNOP, also known as dONW7, in 1982.
The character first appeared in LMNOP concert programs and magazines (LMNOP Magazine was the original title) given out at live shows. The cartoon character's presence in the magazines grew, and the name of the magazine was eventually changed to babysue. (The name of the magazine and the web site is written as one word and that of the cartoon character as two.). As a small zine and then a full-size magazine, babysue was published in print form from 1985 to 2002 and distributed both nationally and internationally. In the mid-1990s LMNOP began publishing materials on the Internet with the web sites babysue.com and LMNOP.com. The web sites feature reprints from the print magazine as well as reviews (music, film, books, software, etc.) and an array of constantly expanding new creations. Both web sites are updated monthly. In 2009 a third web site was established entitled dONW7.com.
