Awet Gebremedhin Born December 2, 1993 know as (Yoshi Gebre) is an Ethiopian-Eritrean born soccer player who plays Left winger and Left back who currently plays for Stevenson University. Yoshi also played middle school soccer at Charles Carroll Middle School(CCMS). He helped the soccer team win the state championship where he got the award MVP he lead the team with 31 goals and 15 assist. He holds the school record with games played goals and assist. He later played High school soccer at Parkdale high school where he was the captain for 2 years he played left wing to he his team reach the state his senor year. He made the All County First Team Gazette team his Junior year and Senor year. Yoshi also played American Football for 2 years he played kicker and slot wide receiver.

Growing up, Yoshi played for a local club soccer team called Bowie strikers for coach Lloyd Anderson, The team later changed their name to Maryland Rush which competed under a U-19 age group. Yoshi is currently playing for Dc Ethio Stars Fc club team.

Personal goal he plans to play for his national team and he hopes to enter the MLS draft.
