Atheist Solidarity Day is June 21, a complement to World Humanist Day. Part of the Out Campaign, it is a day of protest, celebration, and awareness raising for atheism. The celebration was started by Mike Smith, an outspoken atheist who lost against incumbent Randy Nix for a seat in the Georgia House of Representatives in 2012.

Smith says that though it is primarily an atheist holiday, it is also an awareness campaign for all beliefs.[1]
