Brian "Astro" Bradley (born August 26, 1996) is an American rapper and actor. Mostly known for being a contestant on the first season of The X Factor USA in 2011. His mentor was L.A. Reid, the mentor for the boys. Astro was seventh place in the competition. After his appearance on The X Factor, he starred in an episode of Person of Interest.

Early life

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he lives with his mother, Astro attends a Junior high school in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn. Astro started composing music, mostly in hip hop music. He has been doing it since he was a baby, but started professionally when he was 10 years old.[1] Some of his musical influences include Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.[2]

After The X Factor

After The X Factor, Astro made many singles. One of them was "Stop Looking at my Mom", released under the name The Astronomical Kid. The music video was released on YouTube.[3]
