The young boy who made his way up .

Ashvindren Nair Ramesh (born 22 October 1994Italic text) , commonly known as Ashvin who started playing football since the age of 10 is now a main marksman and quite popular among young lads from the state of Selangor .

He came trough the Pro Touch sports academy which used to be held In Bukit Jalil . His performance was outstanding at the age of 10 . Since then , the coaches upgraded him to the senior squad which was the U-13 team .

He plays as an all rounder , but perfectly fits the midfield role . He wears the jersey number 22 or 10 , which marks his date of birth (22) or the month he was born (October)(10)

Ashvindren has also captained his School team at the age of 12 , 14 , 15 and 17 . He is a very enthusiastic leader and always takes full control of the team with perfect style into the pitch.

Although his team seldom make it to the Finals , he has caught the eye of the State team Scouts. But disappointingly , he snubbed the request on joining the state team with the excuse of concentrating on his major examination on that particular year.

He is well known for his good vision , and pint point accurate passing . Besides that , His ability to completely control some matches has earned him fame among the young generation .

Moreover , He represented the Selangor Indians in the year 2009 and 2010 . The year 2009 was a little disappointing due to the early exit , but the year 2010 was absolute delightful . Selangor made it into the Finals which was played in Stadium J CORP , Pasir Gudang Johore Baharu . At that point , they were competing against Penang , an arch rivals with Selangor . The game was on Penangs hand that day , but untill Selangor brought on a Super Sub which was Ashvindren and AJ Sanjiyven . They both scored in the dying minutes of the game with Ashvindren scoring a complete stunner left the goal keeper from Penang flat footed . On the other hand , AJ Sanjiyven's goal was a scrambled goal but somehow rather found its way in .

That was the first time Selangor Indians U-16 ever won the cup , and the coaches were delighted with their victory and hence decided that Ashvin was one of the most exceptional player that he has ever coached , in his entire coaching History.
