Asha Bhosle-Mohammed Rafi is a legendary singing pair in Hindi film industry, popularly known as Bollywood situated in India. They sang more than 1,000 duets in the period 1950-87. Mohammed Rafi passed away in 1980, still their duets released till 1987. They have sung innumerable hit songs under all the prominent music directors in India such as Sachin Dev Burman, Shankar Jaikishan, O P Nayyar, C Ramachandra, Madan Mohan etc.[1]

The Singing duo

Mohammed Rafi was born in 24 December, 1924 and Asha Bhosle was born in 8 September, 1933. They sang a lots of songs in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. She sang “Bahut shukriya”, “Abhi na jaochhod kar”, “Uden jab jab zulfein teri” and “Aaja aaja main hoon pyar tera” songs with Rafi. [2]
