Dear Friends,

I would be very grateful if you could delete the wikipedia page about me. My life has completely changed since I was an artist and making this rather controversial work many years ago. I would like this page to be removed. It is causing me pain and distress in my new life and in my relationships. You will see that the work was very exposing and my new life is very different and I am no longer an artist. I would be very grateful if you could help me with this please. I am not sure if defamation of character applies here and I hope that I will not have to look into all the legal stuff in order to get the page removed. I do look forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much, Sincerely, <redacted> Tiptoety talk 05:34, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

  • Delete per request of the subject. A quick search shows that while Requiem did get some coverage, it's not so overwhelming that we need to overrule Ms Buxey's request for it to be deleted. There's no depth of coverage of Buxey as an artist to show that she meets WP:ARTISTTokyogirl79 (talk) 05:57, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Well, it appears that there is sufficient coverage for the page to be kept. But if the subject really wants it to be removed, then so be it. Bonkers The Clown (talk) 06:41, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

  • Move to Requiem (video) or merge to Blow Job (film), but only if we can avoid leaving a redirect from her name to that page (I assume it's possible somehow to do this). The artwork has received a significant amount of coverage, e.g.
Joan Smith, "Sex, lies and videotape", New Statesman; 10/15/2007, Vol. 136 Issue 4866, p38-40, 3p
Seduced: Art and Sex from Antiquity to Now, Marina Wallace, Martin Kemp, Joanne Bernstein, Merrell, 2007
Mary Beard, "A phallos-bird flies into the Barbican"[1]
BBC[2]
and therefore it's potentially important to students of Warhol and feminist art, but she's not notable for any other artworks. I guess she wants to avoid it showing up at the top of a google search for K R Buxey, so leaving a redirect wouldn't work. --Colapeninsula (talk) 15:28, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

  • Merge & Redirect, plus- As above, and tag redirect as {{unprintworthy}}, 'which has the useful side-effect of removing redirects so identified from the search suggestions'. Dru of Id (talk) 20:31, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
