Anthony Hanemaayer (born 1968) is a Canadian man who was convicted of a 1987 sexual assault in Toronto but later exonerated after serial killer and rapist Paul Bernardo confessed to the crime.

After being cleared in June 2008, Hanemaayer commenced a $1.1 million lawsuit in June 2010 for damages suffered as a result of his 1989 conviction for the sexual assault on Heather. The lawsuit blamed the Toronto Police Services Board, Toronto Police members, Hanemaayer's former lawyer and the Attorney General for Ontario.[1]
