Amosing was created by Amos Smith of Duncan Oklahoma after being inspired by a pose from Lionel Richie and the planking fad.
He created and perfected it while traveling the world. To do the pose you must get you body as straight as possible faced towards the camera laying on your side making two fists, one placed under your chin to support you and the other is driven into the ground in front of your stomach.
The first photo was taken of Mr Smith himself on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. He then went on to take photos in front of many landmarks all over the world from the Eiffel tower in Paris, France, to the Chicago Bean in the United States.
Mr Smith has plans of taking photos of Amosing in over a 100 countries most famous sites and writing a book titled, "Posing Around The World, My Adventures In The Wild"
