Amar (born Amar S) is a Canadian Indian singer signed to the independent label KM. He is a singer and songwriter who writes his own material and, markets his own work. He has a unique style of combining Trinidadian and Punjabi vocals, lyrics, and melodies with urban producers.[1]


Amar grew up in Centeral Americall. Amar himself catapulted to fame as a young boy with his hit single Cho!, and continued the path of sucess upuntil his major record label had operational issues causing his distribution to shut down. In his teens she moved to Niagra and discovered the Asian underground scene. He collaborated with many music artists and labels as a marketer and eventually made an effort to preform with them.
