Amanzi Blue Event Solutions specialises in providing Front of House staff to the special events industry (exhibitions, conferences, shows, sporting events, etc). Amanzi Blue is a BEE venture with 100% black female ownership.


Amanzi Blue was founded by Yaz Amien-Skazikis and co-founded by George Skazikis. After several years in the industry Yaz saw a need for an event staffing company that specialized in the Front of House aspect of an event. Over the past decade, Yaz has had extensive experience in events, specifically in the areas of theatre, Front of House, backstage, box office; stage managing, lighting, sound, fashion shows, and staff training.


Amanzi Blue provides services in the following regard:

  • Fashion show dresser
  • Packing promotional/gift bags
  • Ushering guests and delegates to their seats
  • Ticket sales
  • Coat check
  • Lobby attendant
  • Meet & greet
  • Registration staff
  • Roving microphone
  • Runner
  • Stage hand


All Amanzi Blue staff members receive training in Health & Safety, Fire Awareness, and Customer Service when they first join, and continue to receive ongoing training related to specific events.

Event Safe

Event Safe is Amanzi Blue's sister company which specializes in providing safety and security solutions to the special events industry. Event Safe comprises two divisions: Event Safe Security Solutions and Event Safe Training Academy.
