Garry bower, Hit over 700 average in the 60's at North Thurston High School in Lacey, Wshington. He lost an eye in a car accident after graduating yet was drafted to a Major leauge club. He played football at Olympic, Western, and Semi professional Football. He became a teacher at Edmonds High school after a short teaching period at WWU. Garry Bower was head of Indstrial Ats ad Science for Edmonds School District. Bower's boy's set a United States Land speed record at The Bonnevile Salt Flats as part of an Edmonds School District project. Noteable students were, Wilson and Stone. Bower is racing boats in Lake Havasu Arizona as of 2012. Bower loved all his students and would like to say, take it easy and god blesses you."
