Alekxandre Abashidze (Georgian: ალექსანდრე აბაშიძე; born 13 August 1989) is an Georgian professional footballer.

Club career

He was top scorer in Georgian first division in 2007–08 season, helping promote FC Gagra Tbilisi to Umaglesi Liga.[citation needed]

On 4 February 2010, Abashidze signed a two-year contract with seven-time Estonian champions, FC Flora Tallinn, alongside with compatriot, Zakaria Beglarishvili.[1] In summer the club had reportedly financial issues, as it was late with wage payments and he left the club.[2] He failed to make a first team appearance in his short spell at Flora and only played five matches for the reserve team.[3]
