Aha Naa Pellanta (Telugu: అహ నా పెళ్ళంట) is a 1987 Telugu-language comedy film starring Rajendra Prasad, Rajani, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Brahmanandam. This film was directed by Jandhyala and produced by D. Ramanaidu.

Plot

Krishna Murthy (Rajendra Prasad), son of rich industrialist Satyanarayana (Nutan Prasad) falls in love with Padma (Rajani). When Krishna's father learns that Padma is the daughter of a greedy miser Lakshmipathy (Kota Srinivasa Rao), he challenges his son to convince Lakshmipathy to marry his daughter without revealing that he belongs to a rich family. Rest of the story is about Krishna's efforts to impress Lakshmipathy by acting like a miser himself. Brahmanandam made his acting debut with this film as Lakshmipathy's servant.

Cast

Release and reception

It was released on 27 November 1987. Since then it has developed a cult following among its fans. It was both critically and commercially well received.
