Abbas Ghaderi is an Iranian folk singer, born on 18 September 1948 in Tehran. His career as a professional began at age 18 in the theater (under the stage name Jameaye Barbod), with a song called "Chizi Ke Avaz Dare Gele Nadare". He went on to perform around 830 songs, considered a record for the music of Iran.

His songs include Teke Sang, Saat, Javooni, Ziyarat, Zolykha, Bad Naam and Aziztarin. In many of his songs there are proverbs, such as Chizi Ke Avaz Dare Gele Nadare Aab Az Sare Cheshme Gele, Nemikhamet Mage Zoure, Ozre Badtar Az Gonah, Khab Ashofte, Mige Bemoon, Daste bi namak, Dast be damoun, and Bolour Shekaste.[1]

After the revolution of 1979, Abbas Ghaderi continued his arts activities. He has released several albums and performed live. He is married, and has two sons and two daughters.
