Crowd Crusade (or Crowd Crusading) is a gathering of people with a common purpose or goal that is typically charitable in nature. Usually crowds come together naturally via athletic events, concerts, and other similar functions. In an effort to share ideas and promote common goals, a crowd crusade is often proceeded by collaboration via social media (or similar type of mass communication) before the event actually takes place. By interacting and sharing issues that are usually community or subject based, the most favored ideas become the purpose of the crowds gathering, or the "crowd crusade."
